Audio VST Plugins and Virtual Instruments Reviews
Hollywood Fantasy Percussion provides a full suite of thunderous, mystical struck and shaken instruments to complement even the most epic soundtracks. While they’re well-suited to most orchestral scores, they shine in combination with the rest of the Hollywood Fantasy palette.

Very nice selection of instruments and each comes with a lot of articulations. I thing this library is very useful while I would love to see more steel drums and possibly handpan for examle.

You can get this library from my shop My Audio Studio

does any want also hates this kind of perc programming where you have to find the keys and many keys do nothing?

The selection is the plus, and the sound also good, maybe better sound than Stormdrum?

You have to remember that they can't always sample every note/key and spreading across the keyboard means transposing the samples which may sound unrealistic. It's best to be authentic in my view.

no, you can spread roundrobins only. You can also repeat the samples, at least TWICE (!)

and 8Dio shows the best examples for perc programming in this way, without quality loss. The empty keys are confusing, and the fact that they can´t integrate and combine with the maps of other patches is still worse. I will be waiting for an improvement there. It is a pitty, because there are a lot of good samples on EW, and they could combine easier in one instance. The mapping edit is restricted to one octave.

Using the Midi plugin for transposition looks to be the best solution so far, but time-consuming, and you can´t properly map all, just transpose.

I don´t think the sample has to be processed and sacrificed for good mapping. But, unless the engine is very limited here, i doubt it is not possible. It is the same engine that plays the orhestrator!

Any idea of the recorded dynamics or round robins on this? kind of important in a perc library these days. Sounds like none of either. But not suprising with EW.

I'll check it out for you.

Looks like they have 4XRR on most instruments
