heya, here's my thoughts on Heavyocity's latest flagship scoring tool. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Here it is, and a quick summary for busy composers.
Sits on the edge of music and sound design; sounds sci-fi, cyberpunky and “movie trailer-like”.
Refreshing hits, rises, and stings for intuitive modern scoring.
Engine is cleaner and organized better than Gravity 1, UI is prettier yet still packed with all the powerful options I’d expect.
Gorgeous cue creator presets!
50$ Gravity 1 loyalty pricing might disappoint the loyal folks.
Valuable for professionals (especially trailer and hybrid scoring), bit pricey for hobbyists.
