Some self-promotion (I edit www.SynthAndSoftware.com).

For those who don't know, Jim Aikin was at Keyboard magazine for something like 25 years, and to say the least he knows his onions.

This is also an interesting instrument.

I subscribed. It will be great to have this in my mailbox on a regular basis! I was a subscriber to Keyboard for many years and know Jim's work very well. I believe he was also on the Cakewalk forums back in the day before Sonar was "Gibsonized" along with Oberheim and Kramer, etc. Luckily all three (Oberheim, Kramer, and Cakewalk) have seen new life.

Cherry Audio has done an outstanding job on the Pro Soloist!

Thanks Wes. We all were subscribers to Keyboard and read his articles back in the day!

And even though I was never on staff there, I wouldn't have embarked on my music/audio tech journalism career without them as inspiration.

Also, as an editor I've been able to see his articles the way they come in, i.e. before editing. There's no difference between that and what you read, which is very unusual.

Anyway, subscribing to SynthAndSoftware is free, in case anyone wonders. That's how you support us.
