Sale Highlights

These libraries are being offered at their lowest price ever:

Also, all Shreddage 3 guitars and basses are $99 or less (except for this year's new releases).

Personalized Deals

On top of our sale prices, customers also qualify for deals based on what you already own. We even recently revamped this section so that buying multiple deals will change the deal % for an even better deal!

Check your Personalized Deals page to see what you've unlocked.

Enjoy!

Ooooh dangerous for the wallet

1 question, the prices in deals page depends on what we already own, does buying something there lower the prices of the other products the next time I open the deals page? Asking because I might not be able to buy everything I wanted in 1 go.

It depends - the deals are calculated based on many factors, so for example owning 2 Shreddage guitars will give you a greater discount on another Shreddage guitar, than if you own just one. But the difference will be fairly small if there is one.

will the sale last until new years?
Yep!

That makes sense. Thanks Andrew! Looking forward to grab something in this sale 😚

How does Tokyo Scoring Strings compare to other popular string libraries? It sounds great tho I don’t hear much discourse about it.

You might want to look at the upcoming 2.0 thread here and listen to the demos by Sara: https://vi-control.net/community/th...legato-preview-on-page-2.145885/#post-5445011
I don't own the library but i get a sense that, with the 2.0 update coming, it can compete with the best of them. Personally I'm gonna try to resist the sale this year cause other priorities and such and i have too many string strings already but I'm really tempted.

Not gonna lie. The 2.0 update sounds ballin’. But I exhausted myself last BF and I think I might have way too many strings libraries. Maybe next year when it goes on a deeper sale.

Tokyo Scoring Strings is amazing, one of my favorite libraries. Really crossing my fingers that a new Tokyo Scoring series entry is coming very soon!

About the Personalized Deals... is it expected that some of the prices have gone up? I was planning on picking up the 1.5 update for the taiko library, but I noticed my upgrade price is more than doubled than it was before?

If anything, prices should generally be lower. What was it before?

I did notice some prices are lower in a few I've been eyeing awhile, which is great! Taikos 1.5 upgrade though (I have the original lib) is showing for me as $44 when before it was $20.

That is definitely not correct. Can you PM me your account so I can investigate?

Well I just bought it and have spent only a few hours with it, but I already wish that I had bought it sooner. The lookahead seems quite brilliant, no more nudging the first note of the line or guessing the negative track delay.

Sounds lovely with Breeze 2.

I already owned too many string libraries, but I kept coming back to check out Tokyo Scoring Strings and listened to the demo tracks (the importance of the composers of these tracks as a selling point can't be underestimated). There really seems to be something special to the sound and the images it evokes, at least for me ... So - now I own one more, but I'm confident I will not regret it.

The current offer has
- the huge year's end discount,
- another discount for old customers with several libraries.
- You should also be able to use your bonus points, if you got some from previous buys.
- And then there is the coming update, that was mentioned above and that, imho, just sounds amazing.

Now I am only waiting for the library to download (my internet or PulseDownloader is too slow) ...

Wanted to point out something that I feel like I "just" discovered (maybe rediscovered) which is that TSS has two different types of portamento bowing. One with a bit of an "up / down" porta sound and the other with the more common slurry porta sound.

In the picture, Porta Bow is highlighted, with bowing indicators.

Down bow ( ∏ )
Up bow ( ⋁ )

It's subtle, but what's super cool is that I can hear it at various dynamics levels ... even the quietest dynamics, as well as the loudest.

Note the keyswitches above are not default; I am mucking around with all the rules you can have (at the bottom, see the three "rules" you can map) ... you can trigger different actions with velocities, keyswitches, or MIDI CC, etc. You can layer different attacks, it's sooo flexible.

Now, someone is going to ask me for an audio demo but I am not prepared to do that yet.

Yet another comment to add to the pile: just bought TSS and really love it already, even as a CSS owner. There's a lot of deep customization here that too many libraries don't allow for (like, deciding the offset time for every individual articulation? Why isn't this more commonplace?!). I guess it becomes more of a "piano roll surgery" tool because of this, but giving me this much control over my sound is an easy tradeoff.
