Ah, wouldn't it be interesting to have recordings or midi files from those two guys? Although I am sure they would be more imporessed by a cleaner sounding piano-library. These sounds are for those of us who have built up some kind of 'artifact nostalgia' (medical term?).

Brahms and Liszt is rhyming slang for pissed, as in drunk.
When you added the Brahms piece, that connotation came to mind, although maybe the piano is drunk rather than the pianist!
Not in a bad way of course.

Probably, I'm no expert.
A piano is referred to as an Aunt Joanna, regardless of its level of sobriety.

I love the gramophone patch and the sounds from the Abendlied (Schubert D957, Schwanengesang). I spent a lot of time with remastered gramophone recordings and these sounds really go right to the bone for me.

Thank you @Inherently This release was a surprisingly good one for us. We tapped into something outside of vi-control. Not sure from where. An environment we didn't know existed. Apparently there's a serious listener-base on Spotify in need of so-called lofi-chill music (or whatever it is called). And obviously a vast amount of composers making this kind of music.

Not sure if there are any around here though?

From now on, we'll insert a track of vinyl dust and scratches, and put a slow pitch-drift vibrato on every kontakt patch we make
