Millennium French Organ—The Definitive Organ for Film Scoring

Hi everyone,

Last year, we recorded this 2006-built masterpiece in the southern French city of Aix-en-Provence. The result is an exceptional sample library masterfully recorded in a traditional surround setup, perfect for modern film scoring.

So what does it include?

— 28 registrations and 25 instant-satisfaction presets
— 5 microphone positions
— Recorded in the Saint-Jean-de-Malte church in Aix-en-Provence
— Fully NKS-Ready and compatible with the free KONTAKT Player

We spent countless hours conceptualizing the project, followed by long days of recordings and many months of editing. The honest feedback from working organists and media composers throughout this project made us go the extra mile to provide the best experience possible.
This dedication to quality is now within your reach.

Damn, this UI is just perfect!

I just used my loyalty discount, now looking forward to downloading it. And I'd personally like to hear some excerpts from Bach's fugue in D minor, if it's not too much to ask!

i'm a little out of practice but here's the end of the toccata and beginning of the fugue. i don't think i've seriously played any of this piece since somebody made me do it at a high school halloween party lol

Nice one! Just for a bit of context, @annatar is someone who knows the subtleties of pipe organs very well and she provided honest feedback towards the end of the project. I'm glad she enjoys our library and more particularly how we recorded it, what microphones we used plus all various options it offers.

All the best,

I want to know how many people played Interstellar first thing when trying this one out 🤣🤣

Would be great if you could get out a proper walkthrough before the end of BF sale 😅 First listen sounds great though!
That will be the case, no worries. I am going to update the thread once I have it as I finished recording it. Now it's just about syncing the audio between my microphone and the camera + exporting in the best format possible for a clear youtube video without compression!

Yea, we need a presentation of all the stops. I'm really interested in the positif side of the organ.
I would be glad to do so. What kind of demos would you like to hear for all the stops? I suggest going for well-known pieces in the organ repertoire - then I could set up a Soundcloud playlist with all the audio clips. To me that's more telling than random long notes.

gorgeous sound, nice!
Thank you so much @Nattapak !
Hello,
@Maxime Luft , congratulations, incredible instrument!
Funny, I'm living 30 kms from Aix-En-Provence where I studied for 2 years (and spent my nights for 10 years :D) :)
On top of my Black Friday list!
How cool is that. My brother studied there for quite some time too, what a nice place! Truly inspiring I have to say.

Best and until soon,
Maxime

As far as I'm concerned random long notes would be enough. :)

I just want to hear how the stops sound. Lower on the keyboard, in the middle and in some high octave.

(Everything is about huge, bombastic and "must sound like Interstellar" these days, but I'm really interested in the softer sounds of the positif organ.)

Cinesamples have bazillion videos on Forbes, but none shows the actual sound of the stops. 😅
