This has been one of the most substantial updates we've ever done for a product, with complete new sonic treatment for the sample set, an entirely re-designed interface, massive improvements to efficiency in the script, and more.

This is a free update for existing owners, available via Native Access by going to Installed Products, hovering over Full Version, and clicking Reinstall. Be sure to back up your existing library in a separate location before reinstalling!!!

In addition, this library has dropped in price from $529 to $399 -- this is not a sale price, this is a permanent price drop, and future sales will be based off this price :)

Congrats on the release. I know the Kontakt version has lots of features that aren't in MUSIO, but I'm wondering if the overall denoising, legato reprogramming etc., are the same here as in the version that was ported to MUSIO?

Yes! The sample set in Musio is what we re-exported and treated for the CineStrings Core 2.0 update.

I only have cinebrass 12 horn from you.
Must admit I was never a fan of your interface, but the new one looks really nice :))

Thanks so much! We did our best on this one, and it's always good to hear that it's resonating with composers and producers doing the real-life work 🙏
 
Woohoo! Congratulations on the release of the update. I'm very excited! Downloading now. Thanks for the instructions on how to update -- I was scratching my head until I read to hover and "reinstall". And I've made a backup just in case. Cinestrings Core was my first non-ensemble library and I've always loved the sound. Can't wait to play this tonight in...30 minutes and some change!

Wow, that's so cool! I'm really glad that we could keep the support coming and hopefully keep this library just as inspiring as when you first purchased it 🙏

Only 30min?! You mind sharing some of that bandwidth with the rest of us? 😅

Oh I know, I’m just speaking for future reference, this looks to be a substantial update so I’m looking forward to see how it translate to my favorite product from you guys!!

Of course! I've laid out exactly what that's gonna take in the Cinesamples main thread. Right now we are in HEAVY Musio development, so there are no set dates, but the update work going forward will be much more simple and clear-cut for us now that we have the code base laid and tested
