Blending DIVA with SoV?

Well, I don't know about sov but I've tried with vota and they work pretty fine mostly with the angels patch.
Also, I have been looking to try sov for a long time (I just don't like to work with Akai) and maybe I will let you know then.

I don't own VoTA - just the patches included with EWQLSO Silver.

Symphony of Voices blended with DIVA might work for slow moving pieces. I've heard of people using all three in conjunction with one another.

Yes, I totally agree. From what I know SOV has a very interesting pallete of sounds like gregorian chants and boys choir very sutable for slower passages. The vota on the other hand seems to go more for that agressive choir sound.
The bottom line is, when it comes to choir samples there isn't a complete package out there just yet (maybe in the future with VSL choir there will be), so the best option right now is to have the 3, but if you are just looking forward to composing slow choir passages then sov is for you.

Actually I am very interested in getting VOTA. Currently SoV might be more within reach (especially when considering that I would probably have to get a standalone computer to run VotA since the others are all Kontakt-based.)

(By the way, did you know that Chicken Translator can convert Akai files virtually flawlessly including Symphony of Voices? I had a rude awakening from several who were doing this and running SoV in Kontakt and EXS.)

I am glad to heard that, because I've once used the giga converter and some files were not good afterwards.

So better check that chicken thing.

I don't own any of the choir libs yet, so I can't comment on that issue - but I do enjoy making a choir out of the two DIVAs... the two voices really complement each other well and if you use different patches you can build a pretty cool sounding chamber choir just from these two girls alone!

Sounds really promising Francis - looking forward to it. I wouldn't mind reviewing it when its released.
