Emergence Audio Viola Textures v Inlet Audio Viola Drama Textures

If anyone has both - even if different libraries, to give some educated comparison on what, on paper at least, look quite similar offerings.
I don't have EAQ Viola Textures yet, but do have the Cello and Bass.
The EA Textures series is as much about sound design, as it is about the quality of the samples, with the engine being as important as the content, allowing you to create evolving patches that utilise both fx and the very long samples that enable a greater sense of movement with less looping.
Inlet's VDT has basic fx, and you can turn it into a synth, but it's more closely aligned with a true acoustic aesthetic.
It's almost certainly worth having them both, as whilst the dual sample layering concept is the same, the samples your layering come from different peformers, and so have their own flavours, even across the same articulations.

To summarise in just a few words:

When in doubt, both thou shalt buy.*
