Ricotti Mallets - Glockenspiel - reverb?

What's a good reverb for Glockenspiel when using ricotti mallets. I have Blackhole but I don't want a "spacy sound." I want the glock to blend well with spitfire chamber strings for a commercial jingle. Something nice.

What's a good reverb to use? Any stock reverb on Logic Pro or should I look at purchasing something new? Anything free?

Spaces 2 most likely, or a convolution reverb with that certain grand toasty hall impulse. But to be honest, almost any stock reverb will do the trick here. If you don't find stock reverb suitable, the cheapest way is to find the mentioned impulse and use the stock convolution reverb for loading it.

I use Valhalla Room ($50). Which is probably the best cheapest option.
I'll look into that one.
Chromaverb too, I'll see how that sounds.

Question regarding strings. If I like how the strings came out in mix should I still eq them or just leave them how it is?

If money is no object, MIR Pro 3D with Room Pack 5 (Pernegg Monestary) and shorten the tail should get you very close to that AIR Lyndhurst sound.

If your happy with their sound leave them alone.

I found that glockenspiel - while quite lovely as a VI - surprisingly hard to blend with stuff recorded in larger rooms and to make it sound "right". Apart from using some good reverb, I would suggest the following:
Use something like Panagement or similar before the reverb to simulate distance.
Use a transient shaper to dial down the attacks a bit (again before reverb). Similarly, use some EQ.
Play with the mics while using a reverb - it's sometimes easier to hear differences this way.
