Slowly getting the hang of it!
Hello everyone,
I just purchased a Samsung External SSD and I want to move all my sample libraries (which have been slowly clogging up my internal storage) to the new SSD. I have a few questions regarding this and I hope you can help me with them:
- Given the newbie way of thinking I had when I started composing, my samples are scattered all over my laptop in different locations. How do you order your samples? All in the same map, or by developer etc.?
- Are there any dangers when moving samples from one location to another, as in: "lost" samples in projects, or perhaps iLok related issues?
- Anything else I need to be aware of?
