Hello from the Netherlands

solidtrax

Solidtrax - patches for effects and synthesizers
Good to finally be here as a member and hello to everyone! Been lurking here for a while now and realized that we didn't had an account yet... OMG ;)

We make patches for synthesizers, effects and samplers. Occasionally we write reviews: https://www.solidtrax.nl/reviews

We also have some free packages online which some composers could appreciate. One of them is Earth & Stars - A pay-what-you-want-or-free package for Valhalla's amazing Supermassive: https://solidtrax.nl/product/earth-stars/

As much as I wish I could contribute to the Dutch party, I also know that ye Niederländers speak better English than most Americans I've ever met... :) So I'm not even going to try. But I was thrilled to tour through Amsterdam and Rotterdam in October for the first time in my life, and I love those cities! We played at Bimhuis in Amsterdam and Bird in Rotterdam, both wonderful venues, and both cities are a delight for just walking around and hanging out. I can't wait to be back, honestly.

Bimhuis is one of the coolest venues for jazz. Many legends have walked (and played) there! Cool!

And I hope your next tour brings you to Groningen, a much smaller city but with a great music scene too. And great venues.

I'd love to! I hope to spend a lot more time in that country, the group I toured there with does well there and I'm sure we'll be back, but I also want to just go for fun with my wife and train around from city to city. I'll certainly put Groningen on the list, thank you for the tip!

And yes, I've listened to "Dave Douglas Live at the Bimhuis" many MANY times, I was honored and grateful to play there. Some of the best live sound engineers I have ever, ever encountered, just lovely people. (Give me ALL the Schoeps microphones, please...)
