Hello From Belgium (beatsurfing aka Druw audio aka Herrrmutt Lobby)

Hey everyone, Erik here from Druw Audio. We are a collective of musicians and artist based out of Belgium, making music and music tech together since 2011. We started publishing our plugins in 2023. You may have seen us before under the name Herrmutt Lobby, on our iOS apps Playground or the newer BEATSURFING 2 and now our plugins 7DeadlySnares, LunchTable, beatfader or RANDOM.

Thanks for having me and if you ever have any questions or comments on our stuff give me a shout here or on social media.

We are working on it. We just received what we needed to do so. Everyone is just getting back to the grind after the holidays. I don't have an eta yet but it won't be long.
 
That's fantastic! Please don't forget the little AAX specific automation thing where you can control-option-command click on a parameter to enable automation, and control-command click it to view the automation lane. for some reason many devs that don't specialize in AAX forget this little flag in the spec.
MIDI learn would be fantastic as well. You guys are making great sounds!

Can I ask for an example of a plugin that DOES work the way it’s intended to? (preferably a plugin with a demo mode)

I just tried Klevgrand Slammer in pro tools, and I don’t really see anything happening when hitthing the key combinations you mentioned, I want to he sure what to expect...

U-he is the first VI that comes to mind that does this properly... open up Diva in PT to check.
lots of audio plugs like SoundToys, McDSP, Valhalla... do it properly.

this is Diva after control opt command clicking the cutoff freq knob.

after adding it, you can control command click it and it will display the cutoff automation lane in the edit window. This is how I also quickly jump to Volume and other settings as well. control command click the track name to quickly return to clips view.
There is also a mode/ preference to "automatically" enable all automation parameters, but I prefer this way to keep things clean and streamlined.

Thanks for that. The guys just tested a build for RANDOM aax and seems to be going smoothly, just need to do a windows one and then apply to our other plugins. But coming along good.
