I have never properly introduced myself, even though I have been on this forum since last year.
I'm Ofelia, an Italian girl currently residing in Rome.
I face challenges with depression and borderline personality disorder, and while there are other difficulties, these two are probably the most significant. They have influenced not only my music but also how I work, affecting the stress levels I experience before reaching a breakdown, as well as shaping my emotions and the way I create music.
I enjoy playing souls-like games and watching indie animated movies. Ghibli films, Dark Souls, and the works of impressionist composers, with Ravel being my top choice, hold a special place in my heart.
Despite having had some paid gigs in the past, I feel like my music isn't quite ready yet. This is partly due to technical issues and mostly because I haven't found my voice yet.
My goal is to become a better composer, crafting rich and colorful orchestrations. So, wish me luck!
Oh, I am a big fan of Spitfire Audio. I own numerous libraries, and knowing myself, I'll probably end up having them all, ahah!
