Regarding the new forum....

Fantastic job! (finally found the old email with my login stuff) I haven't been around for a lonnnnnng time. This is great! Kudos to you on such an excellent updating.
 
It looks great, but the search feature doesn't seem to work. I cannot see previous posts by a specific user, or search for threads by keyword, it simple says there has been a "VI Control Error" try again later.

I'm probably being an absolute idiot (no more than usual) but how do you get the fancy website dropdown link in our avatar section on the left?

If you mean the one that shows up as "Visit Site" while hovering over the avatar, go here and fill in the url for your website under "Home Page" http://vi-control.net/community/account/personal-details
