Thanks for the good feedback! I always find it challenging to decide how much compression to use. Too much and you lose dynamics, too little and you lose the volume war and it doesn't sound as good to the regular listener.Sounds ok. To my ears it could benefit with more cc work to get the dynamics flowing more. Like the big moments when the melody is is full flow, the original recordings kinda push through each note, little swells, gives it huge gravitas and impact.
But boy does musio sound good, eh? It's sound really suits httyd down to a tee.
Thanks for the input! I tried to tempo match the original version as much as possible. There's a big jump in tempo around bar 54; but other than that you are right it is pretty stableSounds good! If I should say something I think it would be that the mockup might benefit from a more varied tempo. It sounds like it’s a constant tempo but I could be wrong. Either way, nice work
I don’t think he meant compression but rather the opposite, to create more dynamic variation via midi CCs / modulation / expression. Thanks for the good feedback! Yeah, I was pleased with Musio especially how gentle it is on the CPU
Yes of course! I meant that compression on the master bus (to make it more youtube friendly) killed a lot of those dynamicsI don’t think he meant compression but rather the opposite, to create more dynamic variation via midi CCs / modulation / expression.
Thanks!I underestimated Musio cause this sounds so good. I could have sworn this was a live recording.
Thanks! Yes one of the great things about Musio is that it is very CPU friendlyVery nice work @Frank Paul !,I see the global memory use is around 853 MB,that is amazing!
Thank you for sharing your project, cheers !
I rather find it very RAM friendly, but actually quite taxing on the CPU.Thanks! Yes one of the great things about Musio is that it is very CPU friendly
that's a fair assessment!I rather find it very RAM friendly, but actually quite taxing on the CPU.

Hey Mike, I'm honored that you would even consider sharing this! I just do this for fun and I'm a HUGE fan of what Musio has done for hobbyists like myselfWow, great work Frank!
Would you be cool with us posting on our socials channels etc? Happy to tag your @ or whatever you want us to do.
Also do you have the WAV file on its own?
-Mike
That would be great! And we can build a nice 3D video around it.Hey Mike, I'm honored that you would even consider sharing this! I just do this for fun and I'm a HUGE fan of what Musio has done for hobbyists like myself
I can share the wav file and even the Logic file if you want it. Just let me know the best way to go about doing that
