No longer getting alerts but still watching threads?

I've not been receiving any watched alerts (the alerts list is blank and usually includes recent alerts even if I've read them). I recently set my alerts to notify but not via email and I wonder if that has caused a problem.

I've tried re-setting cookies and re-starting the browser etc so I'm a bit stumped as to what they problem might be.

Any help would be much appreciated!

It could be that there needs to be a few posts updates for this new alert format to show any data? Maybe in a few hours or days?

Notifications for this thread are popping up fine and they're showing up in the Alerts notification before and after reading so I'm not sure if it's that. I'll go through all the threads I'm watching and unfollow-refollow to see if that fixes the issue.
 
I notice that older threads that haven’t been updated in awhile will reset to the beginning after a new post rather than opening at the last read post like the usually do. And the last few days this has happened with very recent threads as well.
 
Alerts seem to be working again (and they’re opening at rhe “last seen upto” position @jbuhler ) now that I’ve unwatched and rewatched them all individually.
