I've always loved the Bruce Hornsby tune (The Way It Is) since I first heard it.
Over the years, I've often stabbed at it but never really got it together.
I stumbled on a YouTube video from Mike Verta where he really digs into the bones of it.
I must say, what a terrific job he has done of analysing the tune and delving into Bruce's playing technique.
