Hey VI fam! I just wanted to share that I received my very first paid comment on my channel, which means a ton to me.

I'm sure there are thousands of creators who make a living from these types of comments and memberships, but considering the smaller nature of my channel and our industry, it really touched me today, and I just wanted to share it with you.

For anyone who follows my channel and has supported my work, I wanted to truly thank you - it would honestly be a lot more difficult to keep it up without your continued encouragement.

Sorry for the question - can someone explain what is the paid comment in YouTube and why it means something? I'm not well in it, but very curious to understand.

I always thought paid comments is when blogger pays to people to write a comments below his video to make it viral, creating artificial excitement in the absence of real interest. If I googling "paid comments youtube", I also get that type of information.

But the context of this post is totally not about it, so I'm a bit confused.

This is a way to support content creators. You write a comment in the comment section of Youtube and add some money to it.

Congratulation Chris! If I remember correct, the first video I saw from you was about Soundiron Emotional Piano, long long time ago (maybe one of your first videos?)
