Hey all! I normally don't share much here regarding my live performances vs my compositions.
However I Was recently the artist in residency at a Cincinnati Staple (MOTR Pub) in January, doing a unique solo set compared to what I normally do with my band. Each week I'd write new songs and debut them, creating backing tracks out of a mix of high end midi, and actual recorded instruments (bass/acoustic guitar) and then I'd put them on my Roland sampler and play along to them and sing with my electric guitar/pedal set up.
It had been a fun experiment, and for the final show I got to have a dream come true and do a few songs with my friend from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
It was so great to play with a real violinist, especially such an accomplished one, after doing midi mockups for a few years now!
I also did a few songs as a two piece with the drummer from my band The Harlequins!
Wanted to share with anyone who's interested! Cheers!
