Getting Kontakt library to play in Finale

I'm having an issue with getting my Kontakt library to play in Finale. It shows up in the Score Manager, and it says "Edit Player" for the instrument choice. But when I click on it, the player is empty with no options to edit. Do I need to set up the instruments in Kontakt first?

so you click edit player and Kontakt pops up? Yes yoy need to then select what sound you want Kontakt to use. Anything in instrument plane you want ... and then make sure MIDI is set to Omni in Kontakt Settings / handling ...
