Christmas challenge - remix / recreate my xmas2023 track

Every year I plan to write a Christmas song - but I don't do it.
And really, a few days ago I finished a demo track in synth-wave style:

But I found it difficult to turn it into a complete track.
Then I had an idea... 💡
When I set myself a completion date (December 24, 2023), I also have a goal for the end result.
But even better - what if other people were also contributing at the same time?

So I've structured my demo track a bit and prepared it for further editing (see below).

I'm very excited to see what people with different musical backgrounds from different countries can remix/recreate from it.
Everything is allowed, whether pop/rock, orchestra, songs with your lyrics and vocals, no limits...

I would be very happy about an intensive participation.
Attention! Please no spoilers - do not post a track here before December 24, 2023 😇

But a feedback on the challenge would be nice in advance.

That's a great idea, but a very big task for folks at a busy time of year. I don't think I'll be able to do this given my commitments, but it would have been fun to try. It would be great to hear your finished version, though.
 
Oh dear, that's more difficult than I thought. I fell into a lot of traps that I hadn't expected. I won't upload my remix here until Dec 25th. But then I'll also report on what caused me difficulties.

Unfortunately, my own remix has once again only become a demo.

I couldn't decide whether I should continue in the SynthWave style or create something completely different.
After hours of playing around with typical 80s sounds, I made a break.
Since I'm more of a rock musician, I continued with electric guitar and basic rock band tracks.

Then I wanted to make a traditional piece out of it and at the same time explore the plugin "The Score" (Sonusscore/Bestservice).
I lost myself for days trying out presets and the special features of the software.
And then it became a rather traditional Christmas track with trailer influences. 😯

I think I'll repeat the campaign next year and start at the beginning of November so that more remixes from others can be added.
