Christmas Collab (not a competition at all)

Life has a sick sense of humor
Hi everyone, as I didn't know where to post it, I thought this might be the best forum.
Even this year we (Chris Houston from Implied Music and me) are hosting our Christmas/Holiday Collab. If you want to participate you'll find all the info in this video. And YES, if wouldn't be Christmas if there wouldn't be some gifts and we are very happy that @thesteelydane is our main sponsor for this event 😍

Even @Triumph Audio has some free Ambient Winterbells if needed.
And yes, we will have quite some nice prizes, there are some new sponsors on board by now. I will publish an update video pretty soon

I just wanted to give you a quick update on our collab: we do have visuals now if someone would need them and even more fantastic prizes, this community is soooo fanstastic 😍

I promise, if I can find the time, I’ll participate tomorrow or the 24th. Deadlines baby! Because you are right Bee. Martin and Chris have made some of the best video presentations this past year and I want their Holiday Medley to succeed.

That would be great. You really can do anything from a bit of fun with an instrument you can barely play to a fully orchestrated and polished piece. Christmas medleys or mashups are being encouraged this year, but even that isn't a requirement.

I agree about the videos, Martin and Chris really have been making great content this year.

Cool. Sounds doable. And yes, Martin’s videos about Wrongtools and Triumph Audio instruments were big for my “discovery” (and fun and inspiring to watch) and the same can be said about Chris’ videos, for instance one of his most recent breakdowns of a terrific organ piece by Glass. Both of them are born presenters I feel, but also have a sense of humour. Thanks for making these videos guys!

Merry christmas!

This is mighty! Really excellent work and you've captured the sense of winter and excitement with even a hint of danger. It's a Christmas I'd like to have! (I left a little comment on YouTube to say how much I admire this - I'm BF on there.)

OK here's my terrible entry, I've done this in about 1h this afternoon and you can probably tell, but I had fun imagining what a bunch of drunk gypsies would play for Xmas and wanted to actually hear what it would sound like using VSTs and not just imagining it in my head.

All the tracks are a single live take no quantization, and I didn't do any mixing. I just put Ozone on the master and let it do a quick master with the AI detection. So I'm using the drunk part to excuse my sloppy playing and the way it sounds overall. Not to be taken seriously, I hope you'll find it fun at least!

PS: also please excuse the 5mn Paint job I did with the cover and those Santa Claus hats.

Ah, Christmas like the old days!
