OAK ISLAND | Orchestral Music Inspired by the Infamous Mystery

This is a new orchestral arrangement I just completed of an old piano piece I composed back when I was 17. The music is inspired by the mysterious Oak Island located off the shores of Nova Scotia. Not sure if they'll ever find the massive treasure supposedly on that island, but here's some music to enjoy in the meantime...

Love it! This is the second post today we've had with new music and a nautical nature. Both posts have excellent music.
Love the way you've put together a little visual story as well.

Thanks Matt! It was pretty fun to put the video together (though a bit time consuming trying to find appropriate clips to use). Definitely the reverse process of what most folks do on this forum I know (creating music for videos vs. videos for music). Pexels.com has been a great resource for royalty-free clips, so I highly recommend it if anyone is looking for some.

I grew up about just down the coast from there in Nova Scotia, so this sort of post is fun to see. Thank you for sharing your composition with us, @soundofmaw! Definitely a sense of mystery turning to adventure and building tension along the way!

Thanks for the comment! I actually hope to travel to PEI and Nova Scotia sometime in the next few years and hopefully check the area out myself (if they have tours for the island). Fascinating mystery and amazing how much effort has gone into finding the treasure over the centuries.
