Hey everyone,
so this piece was an exercise for two things: Writing a piece in a more romantic style again after writing tons of JRPG stuff for a year and also getting to know Eternity Adult Choir better. If you hear a bit (or a lot) of Brahms then that was intentional, lol.
I had some trouble with lookahead which is why I didn't use it for this project but auto-divisi is still on. I probably could get the syllables more on time with a bit of tweaking but for now I'm satisfied. Lookahead could solve that but it just gave me a headache.
Look, I won't explain the title or the lyrics. Let's just say there is this infamous tweet by some random german twitter account that's been deleted for a while now who replied the most demented crap under some porn bot and it was hilarious. I thought that reply would be perfect to set to music as a romantic choir piece with a chamber orchestra.
EAC is a really complicated library and it took me way longer to write this than anticipated but I think I understand it better now. It's very versatile but I really just love the soft sound of it. It is so perfect for this kind of romantic choir music. The phrase builder worked surprisingly well for german text, though I had to cheat a bit.
The rest is MSB, TSS, CSW, CSSS and BBCSO percussion, btw.
Anyway, dare I say it: I think this is the definitive choir library for me. I probably won't need anything else anymore, unless there's some insane technological advancement (like a holo-deck). My finances rejoice.
Enjoy!
