What's new

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor complete score available for download!

Wow, thank you so much.
BTW, really enjoyed this insightful conversation between Gordy and Austin Wintory:

Yep, I've watched this already, waiting for his upcoming video with Stephen Barton!

Got to meet all the guys at an event here in LA for the soundtrack right before they posted this, had a great time!! Even though I can’t read sheet music I still downloaded it and (maybe) this will be my incentive to learn!!

Also Alan Meyerson was a really funny guy

for those not reading music here is the midi of the first cue
If anyone's inclided, I've found a couple of solutions to convert sheet music into MIDI.

This is a Python script that converts sheet music into MIDI:

I also found this app:

I've seen mentions of using MuseScore to open a PDF and then export to MIDI.

I haven't tried any of these myself so I can't comment on the quality.

but I doubt these would work, I have the best in the field, Photoscore Ultimate and Pdf to Music Pro but they limp with this score... lots of staves and annotations.

Rob - your mockups sound great!

I also thought I'd have a go at the cue that really struck me early in the game - "Dark times"

I know orchestration but I guess I kinda wondered if there were any short cuts in these extraordinarily long games OSTs.. the answer is a resounding no. I know these people have teams but good heavens it's a lot of dots even for a cue of just two minutes.

PS Interesting that the main theme is similar to the tail end of Rey's Theme. Almost impossible not to when trying to fit into the JW Starwars musiciverse!

Thank god for this, another reason for me to not have to learn notation!!
