Recommendations for scary sci-fi music without orchestra?

I'm looking for some inspiration of scary or dark sci-fi soundtracks where there are little to none orchestral instruments, any recommendations?
The only thing that I could find that really fits that description is the Bladerunne 2049 Soundtrack.

One of my faves from "Annihilation" (I don't think there is any "real" orchestra:

Here are a few that come to mind:
  • Dreamscape (1984)
  • The Terminator (1984)
  • Guyver (1991)
  • Pi (1998)
  • Ex Machina (2015)
  • Prospect (2018)
And just about any early John Carpenter film, with the exception of The Thing.
 
Uiroo, this was written for a podcast, but Jack De Quidt is really brilliant -this one is dark mecha sci-fi



His soundtrack to Twilight Mirage is also stunning - more hopeful futurism
