Looking at the demos, I suspect this is going to be like morphing in terms of how useful the output is. 90% of the time it just sounds rubbish until you hit on a combination that works.

I think they've probably tried to bite off too much at once by training it on full track segments or stems (at least that's the impression I got) and then applying full stems to the input. So it winds up trying to match things that are rhythmically incompatible to a rhythmic input and it just breaks down into something that sounds like a CD skipping.

It may be that the demos are badly thought out and it does better on simpler inputs to get material you can then import into a sampler. Or you just mess around with it for a while with a recorder running and hope for happy accidents.

Wow that shit is insane! That thing really does sound like the death of humanity right there. It sounds disturbing and insane like the thoughts echoing inside the mind of a mad man.
Yes it almost sounds autobiographical in my case!

Before I settled on kgdrum as a screen name many years back I actually went by kglovesnoise.

So truth be told, this doesn’t sound like something that could be used often but for me it sounds really interesting in a bizarre twisted way for that special moment where you want something really special for a Christmas song or a ballad! 🤪
