I use the silicon version for a couple months now. All issues I’ve had with the intel version went away. I would say it is fast and very efficient compared to my intel mac experience.
So, how does the performance of the Roseta version compare to the new Silicon native version ?
You are aware that there is a (not super complex) Workaround for this? Now if we get sound variations (detection) for Vienna Instruments and VEP ... that would be excellent :O
There are both pros and cons, so it is all about your workflow and what's most beneficial to you. Let's say you have put together a palette of sounds that you use to score a project and these sounds are recurring in all your tracks. Putting them in VEP will keep them loaded even if you switch songs in Logic, speeding up loading times etc. So you'd make a template in Logic with VEP clients that will load quickly and you can start scoring ideas. If there are someone who knows - tell me please, does it work any better when SINE libraries are loaded on the same Mac into VEP7 (Native M1) instead of using SINE inside Logic?
