Vienna Synchron Player in administrator mode

Hi,
On Windows, to insert the Vienna Synchron Player plugin into my DAW or a host, I must launch this DAW or this host in administrator mode otherwise the program used crashes or indicates that the plugin cannot be loaded.
For the standalone version of Synchron Player, it's the same thing. It must be launched in administrator mode to work.

This is the only plugin I have that requires the host program to be launched in administrator mode.

The VSL technical department that I contacted was not of much help.
Has anyone also had this problem and resolved it?

That's odd, did you install the player in the default folder or a custom one? You might want to check the permissions of the folder you've installed into.

Vienna does not provide the option to choose installation directories. The components are where the program installed them.
I put Vienna Synchron Player.exe in constant administrator mode. It does not work.
Then I changed the permissions of the installation folder giving the same rights to "all users" as the "administrator" rights. It does not work either.
Finally, out of conscience, I put Vienna Synchron Player.exe back in its initial mode but that doesn't change anything.
What surprises me the most is that the “Vienna Ensemble” plugin works perfectly whether in administrator mode or user mode.
I am confused....

There might be a workaround: insert the Vienna ensemble plugin into your DAW as an instance and from there you load your synchron thing. Try it and I hope it works.

It's a good idea ! Thanks !
Unfortunately, although Vienna ensemble loads well in non-administrator mode, it crashes as soon as I load the Synchron Player into it. :emoji_slight_frown:
