You need to run the standalone version of Kontakt, batch resave is not available in the vst version (for Kontakt 7).

I also recommend that you add folders (disks) with samples to exclusions of Windows Security. This also solves the problem of slow loading of samples.

If we are at it, what is the difference between the standalone and the vst version of kontakt?

Standalon is run as a separate program and VST as a plug-in in DAW) Or do you mean where to find the standalone version?

I was not asking for that directly but if you could I would also appreciate if you could tell me how to find the standalone ver.

Usually, Kontakt installs the icon on the desktop with a link to the standalone version, but if not, the standard path is: c:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 7\Kontakt 7.exe
