I thought this article from the NY Times was a fascinating look at how Notre Dame’s acoustics have changed post-fire and what is being done to restore it. Apparently some IRs were taken in 2015 purely for research, but are now invaluable to the restoration (where can I get these?

The visuals in the article are terrific.

That's amazing how they try to restore it as closely as possible. I also read French craftsmen (called "les Compagnons") have made special axes identical to those used in the past, to carve the beams manually using the same technique as their ancestors used.
